What model should I use for different tasks — Sonnet, Opus, or Haiku?
| Model | Speed | Cost | Good default when… |

| Haiku | Fastest | Lowest | Short structured chores—formatting, light extraction. |
| Sonnet | Fast | Mid | Everyday writing, research, ops—most people's default. |
| Opus | Slower | Highest | Hard reasoning, sensitive drafts, huge docs. |
For tweets, emails, posts: Sonnet unless you truly need Opus depth.
